Micaela Ackermann

Singer. Actor. Mover.

About Me

Micaela Ackermann is a musical theatre performer and actor originally from Spokane, WA. She moved to Connecticut to earn her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Western Connecticut State University (click here for more about her training). She discovered her love of theatre at age 8 when she was cast in Madeline’s Christmas as Mary at her local children’s theatre. From there, she was a part of their company until high school, where she became involved with the drama club and their productions (shoutout to Lewis & Clark High School in Spokane, WA). Her high school theatre experience confirmed that this is what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. Outside of theatre, Micaela loves to spend her time exploring the city with friends, going on beautiful hikes in Connecticut, or cuddling up with a good book.

Some of Micaela’s favorite credits include Thea in Spring Awakening (Spokane Civic Theatre), Mary Warren in The Crucible (Western Connecticut State University), and Harper Pitt in Angels in America Part I: Millenium Approaches (Western Connecticut State University).

Micaela plans to move to NYC in 2024 to pursue her lifelong dream of performing professionally!
